Paint protection film is a physical layer that can help shield selected panels from light impact and abrasion. Ceramic coating is a much thinner surface treatment principally associated with surface behavior and maintenance.
Refine
They are not interchangeable. Film edges, panel geometry, paint condition and removal considerations affect an installation. A coating on compatible film may be possible, but must follow both manufacturers’ guidance.
Protect
Choose coverage around real exposure: road use, mileage and your tolerance for visible edges. Obtain a vehicle-specific scope and written exclusions; no solution makes a vehicle immune to damage.
