Inspect
Both change surface behavior; neither replaces safe washing. Wax offers a renewable, short-term sacrificial finish. Ceramic coatings generally demand more exact preparation and can offer longer service, depending on product and care.
Refine
Think about storage, washing frequency and how much maintenance you can sustain. A coating still needs washing, prompt contaminant removal and inspection. Water beading is not proof that every protective property remains intact.
Protect
Choose a product after discussing your use and expectations. Ask what preparation is included, how curing affects handover and which aftercare limits apply. Avoid promises of permanent protection.
